Application of hot melt adhesive on filter

Filters are also called filter elements. The common filters are divided into two categories, one is air filter and the other is oil filter.

Air filter is mainly used to purify air. It is generally used in automobiles. It can be divided into air filter and air conditioner filter according to the application.

The main function of the car air filter is to purify the air inside the engine to prevent the dust in the air from damaging the engine. The air filter = the outside air enters the filter in front of the engine = air grid.

The main function of the automobile air conditioner filter is to purify the air in the interior space of the car. The air conditioner filter = pollen filter = the filter before the outside air enters the cab air conditioning system = air conditioner grid.

-Air conditioner filter-

According to the appearance, it can be divided into high-efficiency filter with partition and high-efficiency filter without partition. Among them, the air filter for partition is made of aluminum strip or the like, and the weight is heavier. The separator is made of hot melt adhesive and is light in weight.

The oil filter is mainly used to block dust, metal particles, carbon deposits, soot particles, etc., and mainly protects the engine. PA polyamide hot melt adhesives are generally used mainly. PA type hot melt adhesive has the characteristics of high temperature resistance and oil resistance.

The air filter generally uses EVA hot melt adhesive and PO polyolefin hot melt adhesive. This hot melt adhesive has the characteristics of rapid curing and is suitable for mass production, especially for the high efficiency filter without separator. The glue mainly functions as a filter paper folding line, a filter paper folding edge, a reticulated film fixing, and a filter element frame fixing.

Weiwang hot melt adhesive is suitable for air filter hot melt adhesives including: W802 rubber particles, W802B rubber particles, W730 rubber particles, W128 rubber particles.
