Common book binding method
Gluing method

This is our most common book binding method, such as fashion magazines, textbooks, etc. Wireless binding is the use of glue to secure the pages of the print to the spine. The advantage is versatility, creating a printable spine that meets the full visual appeal of the publication. Wireless binding is one of the most widely used binding methods. The plastic packaging is divided into hot glue (EVA), cold glue (PVA) and PUR. Most of the books sold in bookstores are wireless binding.

Saddle stitch binding

Riding nails are usually referred to as "wire flat nails" and do not use pre-made staples. During the production process, the machine cuts a section from a roll of metal wire and nails it into the paper. The wire is bent and fixed on the other side of the paper. The saddle stitching has a short binding cycle and a low cost, but the binding is less secure and the wire used is difficult to penetrate thicker sheets. Therefore, books with more than 32 pages (64 faces) are not suitable for saddle stitching.

Comb wire / ring

It is divided into two common ways: apron binding and iron ring binding. The main advantage is that it is easy to flip through and replace pages. The cover of the cover is usually filled with a translucent sheet or a matte sheet. The inner sheet of paper is usually 80 g of copy paper or coated paper. The cover material is leather paper, copper paper, matte paper, pearl paper, white cardboard and the like.

French folding

Folds are required for maps, brochures, magazines, brochures and books. After printing, the page is folded into a signature containing a multiple of two pages, such as four, eight, sixteen, and the like. We call this work a printed fold.

Common folding binding methods, such as the occasional opening of the page in VOGUE magazine, the folding menu in the restaurant.
