Hot melt adhesive sticks have a wide range of applications, which can be used to bond materials such as plastic, metal, wood, paper, toys, electronics, furniture, leather, handicrafts, shoe materials, coatings, ceramics, lampshades, pearl cotton, food packaging, and speakers. By using a hot melt glue gun or a hot melt glue machine, we can easily use a hot melt glue stick. Below, I will provide a detailed introduction on how to use hot melt glue sticks and guns.


Firstly, we need to purchase matching hot melt glue sticks and glue guns. Usually, there are two sizes of hot melt adhesive rods on the market: 7MM and 11MM in diameter, which are suitable for glue guns below 30W and above 60W, respectively.


After selecting the appropriate hot melt glue stick and glue gun, we will insert the hot melt glue stick into the glue inlet of the glue gun.

Then, we need to power on the glue gun and turn on its switch.

When the power is turned on, the indicator light of the glue gun will display in red.

Next, we need to support the glue gun bracket and place it on the desktop, keeping the glue outlet at a distance from the desktop. Preheating the glue gun takes 3-5 minutes.

After the preheating is completed, we only need to press the wrench to extrude the hot melt adhesive, and the adhesive production process is very smooth.
