Hot melt adhesive doesn't stick? Try these measures to improve bonding strength
The phenomenon of hot melt adhesive not sticking is often a production problem caused by users' lack of understanding of it. The following measures can be taken to improve bonding strength:
1. Improving surface roughness is beneficial for wetting and increasing contact point density;
2. Surface treatment, such as surface oxidation treatment of aluminum and aluminum alloys;
3. Permeation to prevent low molecules from entering the adhesive layer in the environmental atmosphere;
4. Migration to prevent small molecules such as plasticizers from migrating from the surface or interface of the polymer to the interface;
5. Pressure is applied during bonding to fill surface cavities and deep holes, and to facilitate the escape of gas.
